Privacy & security
How Meridiano protects your information. Legal details are in the privacy policy.
Your money stays in your bank
Meridiano organizes your budget and reminds you. It never makes payments or transfers, and it never asks for your bank password.
How it uses your email
If you connect Gmail, Meridiano uses a single read-only Google scope (gmail.readonly). With it, Meridiano:
- Looks for charge, deposit and receipt notifications from your bank and merchants such as Uber or Rappi.
- Takes the merchant, amount, currency, date and account from each one and creates the transaction in your pay period.
- Never sends, deletes or modifies email, and does not store your other messages.
Meridiano's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use it for advertising or to train AI models.
Connecting email is optional: you can also enter purchases yourself. Disconnect it anytime in the app or from your Google Account.
How your data is stored
- Encrypted in transit between your device and our servers.
- Each person can only access their own data.
- On iPhone, your session is stored in the device keychain.
